RESTRAINING ORDER

Restraining orders are ordered to protect individuals, their children, and other family members from being physically abused, sexually abused, threatened, stalked, terrorized, and/or harassed. Restraining orders are the just steps to ending the cycle of domestic violence.

When you’re afraid to go home, afraid to check your phone, or afraid for your children’s safety, every moment can feel heavy and exhausting. You shouldn’t have to carry that fear alone, and you don’t have to. We’re here to help you take back your sense of safety as quickly and gently as the California courts allow.

As a Legal Document Assistant experienced in domestic violence cases, we prepare and file all the necessary restraining order paperwork with care and urgency—whether you need a Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO), Civil Harassment Restraining Order, Elder/Dependent Adult Abuse Restraining Order, or an Emergency Protective Order. We’ll sit with you (in person or virtually), listen to what you’ve been through without judgment, and make sure every detail is clearly and accurately presented so the judge understands the seriousness of your situation.

We move fast because your safety can’t wait, but we never rush you. You set the pace. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, scared, or unsure about what to write or say, that’s okay—we’ll guide you with patience and respect, explaining everything in a way that feels manageable.

You’ve already shown incredible strength by deciding to protect yourself and the people you love. Let us handle the forms, the filings, and the courthouse steps so you can focus on breathing a little easier and beginning to heal.
